I've only been mountain biking, or biking in general, since 2013. I wouldn't call myself "good" at it - there are features I will always avoid and things that continuously terrify me. No matter what happens on a ride, I end up feeling exhilarated and can't wait to go back out again.

For me, mountain biking led to cyclocross racing, gravel, fat biking, and even a brief stint working in the bike industry. I want to see more people out there riding.

You don't have to know what you're doing. You don't have to be good at this. You don't need perfect technique. You don't have to enter races or be fast or do crazy stunts. You just have to enjoy it at your own pace and with your own goals, whatever those may be.
